So, as if work, family, this place, my business venture with my son, and chores aren't enough, I created a new site for blogs, poetry, discussions and social networking. It's called SilkyVerse.com, here's the link: http://silkyverse.com.

Everyone is welcome to join if they like - it's different from the forum software, you are able to create your own blogs, create discussion groups, participate in discussion groups, add friends, and well all kinds of stuff. It isn't fancy, but it might be fun

Also, I have a domain "quietfall.com" that I've been trying to think what to do with, and an old friend (and I mean old lol suggested that I create a poetry magazine online, so I'm considering that option. It would be more mainstream I might see if he wants to be the editor so it will be pretty selective on the poems it accepts (i.e., mine probably won't make it ) However, that's no reason not to make some submissions once it's up and running! So keep an eye out for it. I was looking at some other sites and they put theirs together using WordPress, so nothing fancy or difficult to do. I may follow suit and avoid a long development process.

QuietFall is up and running, but not yet accepting submissions.
Still some details to work out and I'm looking for someone with an eye for poetry and short fiction to be the editor for the magazine.
