Describe it ~ poetry game

This game should help keep our poetic skills sharp!
A player will challenge the next player to describe something in verse.
For example:
Describe a sunflower
Next player will write a bit of verse, a couplet, a quatrain or a poem of any length to meet the challenge, then post a new challenge.
To begin:
Describe what it's like gazing into a pair of beautiful eyes

When magic flows from gaze to gaze
and eyes touch eyes across the room;
a soft caress from mind to mind
foretells a heart will meet its doom
okay, next describe when you are moved by music

Imagination takes it's own control
as the mind wanders to and fro
Amidst the visions between the lines
notes take form and dreams combine
We see ourselves in it's meaning
dances possible only in dreaming
Before too long the dream dispels
as the next soliloquy compels.

Procrastination you say?
Nah! Time allocation:
pleasant diversion,
concentrated dispersion;
I'll get that done
er, in just a short while,
gotta shuffle my work pile...DW
now try this one: embarassment

Unexpectedly
eyes are staring
laughter rumbles all around
and fingers point.
The thumping heart within
pushes flames of red
outward.
I feel it rising to my face
warmth, redness
embarassment!
Next... describe the moment of death from the perspective of the dying

Ahh! no pain to dissect
no more disrespect
although, my body is dumped
unceremoniously
but, what do I care now:
hey, who's crying tears?
Got none when alive,
bah! why worry 'bout it?
A new road is opening up...DW
can you express deep dissatisfaction with our human moral insufficiency?

tears and anger swirl
within a mortal heart
fallen once again
to foolish, deadly sin
the damage ripples outward
to hurt the ones he loves
dark forces now awoken
angry words were spoken
Another family broken
to foolish, deadly sin
moral failures rage
upon this mortal stage

The blazing warmth touches our skin
Creating beads of sweat
Needing rain to cool us down
Snow to keep the heat down
Heat can be wonderful
But only when it's so cold
Because of the season of summer
The outside, the inside, is now hot as hell
Describe drinking a cold glass of water

Nice job Ai...
Crystal liquid pleasure,
thirsty man's treasure,
in a sweating glass
Cools the parch-ed lips
tendrils spread from sips
as the thirst does pass
next: describe your own eyes

Thanks, John. I really like yours.
Hazel eyes filled with green and brown
Like the grass without movement
But will move along with the wind
These eyes will roll around up high
But there's more to be seen from higher
Eyeballs move up, down, right, and left
To focus on all the ugly and beauty in life

Nice job

I like hazel eyes - maybe because I have them LOL. If I wear green they look green, blue if I wear blue and brown if I wear brown.
Midnight blue is peaceful
like that still time after the sun has set;
when the splashes of color have faded
and the wind musses the leaves of trees
as crickets croon to each other
Crimson Red jolts the eyes awake
like a flower blazing amid the green
bright and buzzing with energy;
the antithesis to the midnight blue
it sets the heart to pounding
Swirl them together for a purple
so bright, royal and fit for kings
yet deep and restful for the soul
in a crimson red and midnight blue
merger like mixing day and night

honeysuckle
sweet and light
a sure delight
and joy to smell
but not as pure
as gardenia
